Default Some math help on offsets to S2000 wheels (aftermarket too)

16*6.5 fronts (55mm) vs 18*8 (53mm)
16*7.5 rears (65mm) vs 18*10 (67mm)

it would appear to me that the REARS will move out 1.25 inches on each side (10-7.5) and that would be the total effect due to the offset being so close to stock.? Please confirm.

Next...... is that too far out?

Volks 8.5 rears are 50mm offsets and they move .5 out due to width plus another 15mm due to offset...which is basically 1.09 inches out.....

is there a huge difference in 1.09 inches out and 1.25 inches out? My volks were ok offset wise.

fronts will move out .75 compared to stock which seems ok also.?

Thanks for any input... I just don't want to spend $2500 and end up with wheels that look like they belong on a getto ride

what a jumbled up mess.....

bottom line... will 18*8 with 57 offsets work up front and look ok with stock alignment but lowered 1"(approx)?

will 18*10's with 67 offsets work in the rear with stock alignment but lowered 1" (approx)?

thanks...scot

x8" ET57's will rub the inside liners when lowered 1"
x10" ET67's w/ 285/30's will rub all day long at 1" drop unless you drive like a pu$$y
