Some more hardtop questions...
For all those who installed their hardtops themselves...
I am buying a hardtop from a local seller whose car has already been sold. So, he doesn't have the little accessories that are needed to do a proper install.
What he has: Side Catchers, defroster wiring harness.
What he doesn't have: longer bolts for side catchers, new brushes, cushion tape, rubber spacers for soft top
The cushion tape I can buy from home depot, the bolts from Orchard Supply, the little spacers I'm going to call honda about.
Is there anything else that comes with the top/install kit that I am going to need?
Thanks.
Justin.

The only thing that you really need is a set of brushes. I installed mine w/o the longer bolts and w/o the rubber spacers. The stock bolts worked for me and I used two strips of velcro in place of the rubber stoppers.
Get the brushes though. Maybe HTG?

I have a HT and love it... I am 6'2" and appreciate the fact that there is ~ 1" more head room; it's quieter; and IMO it looks better than the convertible top.
If you are considering the HT there are two threads you should check out:
clickie --> HT Install;

Yeah, you don't even need the brushes to be honest. Just remove the stock ones from the panel. It's 2 screws each side.
I don't think you'll need the strikers if you have a 2006 S2K.
The part number for the soft top link spacers is 86445-S2A-000 and are like $3-4 each.

Here is the kit from HTG
This has everything you need (if you choose to go this route)

This is most likely next mod. Please do tell of anything you encounter on the install with missing parts.
brushes, spacers, longer bolts, cushion tape. should have it all to do the install this weekend.
Suggestion........ When you place the HT on the car , DON"t loosen or mess with the bolts in the headliner side panels. My top fit perfectly without touching these bolts. You will know once the top is on weather further adjustment is necessary and you have no choice other than to loosen these bolts. Several people on the forum have encountered quite a headache getting these bolt alignments perfect.

if you order all of the parts from HAP, you'll save $50 (and up to $400 for the seibon kit)... and you'll get your stuff pretty quickly (vs. some of the recent horror stories from HTG).
