Default Some NOOB Questions!

Some questions come to mind...please answer the noob!

What has been proven to be more efficient on the S2K, for the street or the track.

A staggered wheel set up or NON staggered?

I'm still breaking my car (113 miles) so I wouldn't know...but what is the top speed rating of a AP2 ?

What is the hump/round thing on the passenger side sticking out in my trunk?

Thanks!

What do you mean? Stagger wheel or stagger tire? For tires on the track the jury is out...some racers like to run 245s all around...others like 245 front 275 rear...others like other combo. Depends on your driving style. Some racers will also run 17x9 wheels all around. That is convenent if you also run same tire size all around.

On the street...stagger tire is safer. This car is tail happy and can bite a new owner quickly. No real reason to run non-stagger wheel on the street.

Theoretical top speed is gear limited at 155mph. That is also pretty close to the aerodynamic top speed with the top up.

Behind it is your spare tire.

I went up to 150mph in my S and still had like 300rpm or so left.So i would guess around 155mph

I would humbly advise you to read the manual.

The fuel door release is on the driver's side body sill, BTW.

And the secret compartment really exists....

Take a look through the FAQ thread in the Introductions forum, and then scan through the S2000 Talk FAQ as well.
