some s2000 owners need smacked (IMO)
I wave at other G2 integras...buuut never get a wave back. It hasn't bothered me at all yet. I'm sort of glad that people pay more attention to the road then trying to see what other drivers are doing. I suppose it's different in a convertible though...
Integra, no offense, but you rarely encounter this "waving hello" behavior in folks driving standard cars. I'm quite surprised that you do this, and not surprised that you get no response.
People who drive somewhat exclusive cars tend to be more aware of others of their kind on the road. It's kind of like being members of a club. Ever since I started driving a Fiat Spider in the '80s, I've enjoyed this comraderie. For us here in New England, owning a convertible is moderately eccentric.
Sometimes the "wave hello" crosses breeds too. I often wave at Miata or MR-2 drivers. I got a wave from a Beetle convertible the other day.
I know this all sounds dreadfully elitist, but it's all in fun.
