Default Someone PLEASE help me! I need a voice of reason!

ok, ill start off and say im really indicisive.

i have an AP1 that im suppose to be putting a J's 70RR FX exhaust on tomorrow with a greddy ultimate e-manage, dyno tune and the whole deal...

i love the S2000

i use to own an Integra Type R and well...it has finally hit me...

im starting to miss the R, not sure why, but all of a sudden this happens...

Im looking through honda-tech and come across a gorgeous, bone stock, 98 ITR with low miles, for a decent price, and it is exactly what i want in an ITR...

and it made my mind do loops!

i have to move out of my parents house by oct 31, so im looking to buy a DD/winter car, obviously the R is not a practical car for that...

and i dont know what to do...

i really dont have any large amount of money to spare right now, since im looking to get a house...

and i just bought a 1600 dollar exhaust that i finally recieved in the mail after 4 months of waiting. And 1200 dollars worth of tuning crap and carbon rear valance...

i dont know if i should sell it all and ditch the S, or just say screw the ITR, it is inferior to the S...

or if i should be brave and finance the ITR and actually use it as a DD/Winter beater and the S as my weekend race car...

or if im losing my mind...

sorry this thread sucks, i need help, im losing it...

i had an R for 2 years, sold it for no good reason, bought an evo, sold that and lost 10k dollars, now i have the S and im losing my mind...

and ITR's are getting more rare by the second...

someone slap me!

matt

hmmm if i were you, I would get the ITR if you would make money on the switch so you could get a house. A house is more important than a car. You can always buy another s2k after you get the house.

the ITR is the exact same price that i paid for my S2k

id only make money, due to fact that i would sell the parts off the s2k

1) Sell the s2k because they are a dime a dozen unlike an ITR, let alone a champ white model
2) Buy the ITR
3) Move out
4) ?????
5) If you still have the s2k bug, I'm sure there will be plenty available in the years to come since the '08s are just around the corner. Who knows if Honda will keep manufacturing s2ks in the future that will rival the lifespan of the NSX.

Hmm, let's assume u love the ITR as much as the S, so both are equally valuable in your eyes... go with the one that allows you to have either and cash in your pocket to go towards your house. Also factor in insurance.
Plus, if you're living alone, the hatchback will probably come in very useful... but for me, it'd be hard to go from an S to an integra even if it's an ITR... but then again I never drove an ITR.

S2K > ITR b/c RWD > FWD imho but it's on you I guess. Whichever car makes you happier.

take heart the fact that you are young and it is ok to make mistakes since you have time to fix them. so anything you do with be relatively ok.
