Default Something loose...

Past few days I've heard a faint rattling/buzzing sound coming from the rear of my car....

I've searched and have found that many have had similar sounds due to their rear windows in the MY02

I'm pretty sure it sound like a loose screw...maybe exhaust based??

I figured it might be due to the fact that it sounds like a small metalic bee buzzing away...

any suggestions as to what it might bee? lol

Might possibly be the nut that holds the spare tire in place. I would start there first.

AH YES.

i started getting this noise after i got my car back from the body shop...they had to replace the rear trunk and for some reason removed the convertible top.

so my guess is that it is related to the convertible top...the question is what and where?

please let me know if you find out.

thanks.

Bee? Sorry too simple.

Rattles/noises are a biotch to track down. I am currently chasing one that I believe is behind the dash. Means I gotta pull that sucker off!!!

Good luck and happy hunting.

Check the housing on your fuel pump, that might help. Someone mentioned it before, forgot who but it's worth a try.
