You have a point there............but something the 2000-01 models will not have compared to the new model>>>>>>>>rear glass windshield, new blue interior/exterior, included tweeters, leather center console,etc.......

To which I say.

1) Yeah, glass would be nice, but too small and my top is ALWAYS down, except when parked or raining. When raining I generally drive a different car. This is a convertable, top should always be down.
2) it's disgustingly ugly imo, but I reserve final decsion till I see it in real life.
3) A nice feature. Not too hard to add to an 00-01 tho.
4) Yup, betcha Ricks console is better leather tho

I love my clockless, silverstone, MY00, #159 s2k.

I have to say, Silverstone matches much nicer with the red interior.

Don't be so happy yet, silverstone owners!

The Japanese official S2000 web site is now updated. Apparently they still have Silverstone for 2002. Plus many more colors!

http://www.honda.co.jp/S2000/

Now people in Japan can choose whatever color combo of exterior, interior and convertible top

Exterior:
1. Silverstone Metallic
2. Monte Carlo Blue Pearl
3. Grand Prix White
4. Indy Yellow Pearl
5. Berlina Black
6. New Formula Red
7. Midnight (Blue) Pearl
8. Sebring Silver Metallic
9. Nurburgring Blue Metallic
10. Platinum White Pearl ***
11. Monza Red Pearl ***
12. Lime Green Metallic ***
13. New Imola Metallic ***

*** are Premium Colors. You need to pay 200k yens extra (ie abt US$1600)

Interior Colors:
1. Black Fabric Seat & Interior
2. Blue Leather Seat & Interior ***
3. Red Leather Seat & Interior ***
4. Black Leather Seat & Interior ***
5. Red Leather Seat & Black Interior ***

*** are 100k yens extra (abt US$800)

Convertible Top:
1. Blue
2. Black

So there are 13 x 5 x 2 = 130 combinations. Damn! All we get is the Suzuka Blue and Sebring Silver....

Yup, he's right, so don't start calculating how much the "discontinued" silverstones will be worth just yet!!!

1) I really don't understand all the hoopla about having a rear glass window. I drive mine with the top down 99% of the time -- after all the car is a convertible!
2) That blue interior looks like something out of a 70s vette -- in other words: terrible.
3) I really don't care the the mounting location for those stock tweeters not to mention I'm sure they are average tweaters at best. I prefer to mount some high quality (aluminum or titanium dome) tweeters at the base of the

Here in Europe, the 2002 colors still seem to be, Silverstone Metallic, Monte Carlo Blue, Ascari Red, Berlina Black and Indy Yellow Pearl...
