I agree, it looks like an 8 to me.

 

FFS people. It's a 6. The angle and poor quality of the photo make the top edge of the 6 bleed down to the loop, making it look like an 8.

You guys are unbelievable.

 

It may look like an 8 but im pretty sure it was just due to the quality of the photo. Its a 6! Arguably, the 5 in the picture can look like a 6.

Seriously...it's a "6" that looks like an "8"...just deal with it...

 

Fisrt of all the picture quality is crap. It looks tampered with. And just because it says 8 on the knob doesn't mean you're shifting into 8th gear. sheesh!

 

My car has an 8th gear.. dunno about you guys..

 

Can I add 8th gear to my car by getting a new knob?

 

C'mon guys - do you really think anyone is seriously suggesting Honda means anything by this? No matter how much I blow it up, it looks like an 8. That's all. Whether it's an illusion, photoshop or even a preproduction engraving mistake, it's kind of funny.
