happens alot with FWD cars.....

Instead of spinning the tires, they grab and slip very quickly over and over, and the front wheels shake like crazy. Improper suspension setup and sloppy bushings contribute to this.

Under full acceleration in 1st or 2nd gear, on broken or uneven pavement, you can also experience this with the S. I think just about every rear wheel vehicle with plenty of power under certain cicumstances will experience this. It is not entirely a suspension or bushing issue though they could certainly contribute to it. Because of the lack of weight over the rear wheels, a high horsepower pickup will bounce all over on you. Can be a lot of fun trying to stay on the gas and maintain control!

my car gets wheel hop on wet pavement sometimes....sucks like mad
i dunno what the s2ks feel like when they hop, but my 3kgt feels like it is gonna fall apart

i wish i could give better insight but i only know 3/S's - one thing for sure though is that a huge cause of FWD wheel hop is bad motor mounts...the more the engine moves, the more the car wants to bounce around
