Default Sorry guys. I need a vacation.

Those of you who recall XViper's departure may recall that at the time I was feeling pretty much the same way he was, but I got over it. Now I'm once again starting to feel like I'm too short and too impatient with too many people, and I keep finding myself reading posts from perfectly well meaning people and thinking they're wankers just because they're not very well informed. I'm afraid the way I'm thinking is starting to show in my posts, and I wanted to appologize to anyone I have been too harsh or too direct with. FWIW, that has never been my intent.

LOL, if I were being totally honest about the way I'm feeling about S2kI right now I'd just say that we've got too damn many wankers here and they're getting to me (again), but if I'm going to say things like that I have to include lots of smilies.

Is it just me, or has there been a dramatic increase in wanking lately?

Definitely a "wanker" surplus, but its all good. There are still many positives to this forum.... persons like yourself being one of them.

You just need to stop reading those AP1 vs AP2 threads

I love S2kI and the people here, and I try to pay back some of what I have received here by helping others as much as I can, but some of the "stuff" gets under my skin sometimes (I know, I'm too thin skinned, but I can't do anyting about that). I've had to rewrite several posts lately, and even throw a few out entirely, because my feelings are showing through, and that's not good. It seems like this stuff comes in waves, and I don't know if it's the posts that change or just the way I take them, but I feel that I sould be able to be civil with everyone, and that's getting to be more and more of a problem lately.

The last thing I want to do is get nasty with somebody because they ask a question or make some off the wall statement because they don't know any better, and lately some of the posts have been like waving a red flag in front of a bull. I hate feeling that way, and it's neither necessary nor fun, and I think I've just been working at it too hard lately (and have had enough for a while).

Fortunately I know I can take a break and not be missed, because we've got plenty of people here who are more than capable of picking up my slack. I think I only started this stupid thread because I needed to vent a little of my flustration. Maybe that's all I really need.

LOL, that's only part of the "problem," but it sure wouldn't hurt.

I get so sick of hearing how APx is better than APy, without the slightest support for the claim, that it has become a source of irritation for me. Add to that the guys who don't have a clue what a sports car is designed for but know how we should all drive them, and with just those two groups I've got more wankers than I can stand right now.

Darn, look at me, calling others "wankers." Those of you who know me know that's not the way I normally think of people, and I feel horrible because I AM thinking that way right now.

Maybe just venting like this will get this off my chest enough so I can behave like a civilized person once again.

Well, after the plethora of writing you've done over the past two weeks, I can see why you'd be a little burnt out - i can' even go into sme threads because of the high level of idiocy floating in them, so I know where you're coming from. Go out and enjoy top-down driving, just promise you'll come back, and thanks for the great posts.

I need to say something to the people who think I'm talking about them. LOL, *somebody* always thinks you're talking about them personally.

I've been here since '04, and I have yet to meet anyone I didn't like. It's harder to communicate with some people than it is with others, and we all suffer from limited understanding which doesn't help communication, but that's just a part of trying to communicate on the Web. Nobody here is really a wanker as far as I'm concerned, and I most certainly don't have any one person or group of people causing me grief. I'm just having trouble dealing with what I can only describe as "misinformation overload."

I feel like it's a Monday morning following a really bad preceeding week at the office.
(And I'm now bitching about it in public. My bad.)

I've always enjoyed your posts. Taking a break would be good. Just try not to take people on here too seriously and you'll be alright.
