Default Sound w/ a test pipe?

Thinking about getting a test pipe to free up some flow. How will this affect the sound on a stock exhaust.

Thanks,

Jason

A little bit raspier, ricier... somewhat deeper. I don't think it sounds a heck of a lot different than stock.

You should find that it's a bit deeper at idle and cruising. It will be significantly louder at vetc and much more aggressive.

There's not an OEM O2 simulator.

You'll need something like this on ebay:

no.. the berk testpipe has an O2 sensor fix built in so you won't get a CEL. I haven't installed my berk tp yet (will be tomorrow), but apparently it works quite well.

It is louder in Vtec, but I didn't think it was "significantly louder." Nowhere near as loud as taking the airbox lid off. Definately agree with the others about it being more aggressive and ricier.

I have the Megan resonated test pipe and I don't notice a difference at all in sound level at cruising. It is a little louder at WOT.
