I'm in Plantation and commute to Margate - Spend time by the beach (have a condo on the ocean)
...waiting to get my car back with it's "new transmission".... this Saturn rental just doesn't get it - but beats walking!
Do you ever go to the Friday night 'cruise' at the "Tower Shoppes" in Davie? (I-595 & University) - have taken the car there and others show up sometimes too.

My S2's been known to pass through Margate. Ocassionally I go to "Crabby Jacks" on RT-1 in Pompano on Sundays. Never seen another S2 there. Food's not bad, girls are cute.
Dave (I'm in VA right now on business... hope to be back soon)

I'll be back down in October, this time for good. I've kep't an apartment off Federal Hwy for 5 years and have spent the winters in Delray. LOVE IT!
Have some associations with both the South Florida BMW and Porsche Clubs and we rent track time twice a month. Wide open track time at the limits and trust me, they all know what each other can do and it's us they're curious about. Some can, some can't touch us but loads of fun. No pride lost in losing to $90,000.00 + cars and a gas beating $60,000 ones.
You know the cash in South Florida, there's some borderline "purpose built" street cars. All you need is $200, a helmet and a weekend with an instructor, everyone's careful because NO one wants damage to their car. A lot of fun.
