Default Spa Yellow owners- the "right" yellow?

I wish the Honda yellow was a bit brighter in color. It seems the
Spa yellow has a little orange in it. When waxed with Zymol
(my preference on my M-B E430) does the yellow look brighter?

I think I am going to ignore my wife's plea to purchase the white S2000 and get the yellow.

I would appreciate input from yellow S2000 owners.

Well not being a "yellow owner" I still like the S2000 yellow. Other yellows I like out there are on the XTerra, Z06 and IS300. I think the yellow on the Z3, WRX and New Beetle are too pale. But it all comes down to personal preferences, right?

I agree. I just took delivery of my Spa Yellow S2K. It definately lacks the "citrus" look yellow of the Beetle, Dodge Dakota etc. Actually, it's not very far off that of the Xterra, which has a slightly more orange tinge to it. All in all though, the shade of yellow doesn't bother me. The car says "look at me" (although don't all colours), and I'm defn. an attention seeker
Get the yellow, and forget about the white....

I agree with valueguy. Yellow is my favorite color, and I've always wanted a yellow car. Spa Yellow has a bit too much red in it for my taste. Personally, I'd take "bettle yellow" and mix it with spa yellow and it'd be pretty close.

Xterra "yellow" is heinous. Were they trying to copy the roadsigns that we mistakenly call yellow? It seems that car companies tend to go dark or way pale... anyone remember the horrible yellow that was offered on the 3000GT?

It's actually considered a pearl yellow. My girlfriend didn't want me to get the yellow either, but when she saw it in person she changed her mind.

I think the Spa Yellow in the S2000s is the 2nd best yellow I've seen on a car. With the ITR yellow being #1. (I don't know if they're the same yellow, but it looks better in the ITR).

All the other yellows I've seen, C5, BMWs, Porsches, Miatas, Audis doesn't look as good.

Maybe the only yellow nicer than Honda's is the yellow for Modena. But I've never seen one in real life.

-edit-
on a second thought, I think the Spa yellow is #1. The ITR yellow is #2.
