Default Spark plug probs???

I heard from a dealer source, that Honda had problems with "spark plugs" in the S2000?? They were kinda reluctant to get into the specifics... hmmm.. all they told me was that it was ironed out by the manufacturer... Can anyone expand on this... if its only the plugs... i got no worries, if its further than plugs, i got worries...

thanks

Do a search on spark plug recall and you will have all the information you need on it.

Basically, earlier cars had to get the spark plugs replaced. The newer spark plugs have different crush rings and are torqued down tighter.

If you are planning on buying on an S2000 now or the future, you do not have to worry about this as the newer cars have the revised plug.

Search function is not working currently. Yes there is a spark plug Service Bulletin for the car. It's an easy, simple and quick swap to different plugs. Most owners haven't had any trouble with the "bad" plugs but Honda is recommending the switch be made to the ones with a better gasket.
