Which spark plugs to buy?
I've seen all these threads about spark plugs failing and what not, so i wanted to post and see what the most recent discovery is for the best spark plug.
My car is NA but might go FI in a year.
I want long lasting plugs = less maintenance.
So which plugs should i buy, how much are they, when do they need to be replaced, what should i torque them to (what if i dont have the adapter?), and what should the gap be?

I have NGK Iridium IX, IFR7G-11KS. I have them for 6000kms, no problem so far, very smooth idle.
I used a torque wrench set to 18 lbs/ft and a 16mm spark plug socket. Gap is pre-set from NGK as these spark plugs are for S2000

My stock AP2 came with the OEM Denso PK22PR-L11S platinum plugs which worked very well so when I wanted to try iridium, I stuck with Denso. I read about the electrodes falling off on rare occasions but I think they are due to damage from gapping. The model I got is the IK22G with the 0.4mm electrode so I was very careful when I regapped them to 0.043" (they came in gapped at 0.032"). I got the IK22Gs for $10 a piece.
So far, they have worked just as well as the original Denso platinums.

I heard and read on S2KI up to now, many engine breakdowns due to the DENSO plugs (electrodes falling is not rare). This is a good reason for me to discourage the community to use them.
NGK FTW, as Honda uses them as well!

i have used ngk plugs as well and i'm FI since november last year...only changed them once just to see if there was a difference with the weather and tune--plugs worked the same, great as always.

I just bought a set of NGK BKR7EIX-11 (#6988) iridium plugs. This after looking carefully at the NGK lineup. I could either have stayed with the OEM platinums but wanted to go with iridiums. These are the same heat range, gap, et cetera et all as the stock plugs.
