Sparkplug help
hmmm...imma take a stab in the dark here, but one would assume a stock high-performance car from the factory should stick with the stock plugs. I think their replacements are NGK or Denso. Listed in the owners manual.
For all model years, the (new spec.) OEM plug is an NGK 7772, which is a platinum plug. I was curious how much it would cost to replace the set of plugs and checked a few websites:
1)www.handaaccessories.com, cost is $66.81.
2)www.hardtopguy.com, cost is $69.14
3)www.manhonda.com, cost is $66.81.
Turns out that the local stores have them for under $10 each. Same OEM plug from NGK. When I called O'reilly Autoparts they said the plug is $9.88 or $39.52/set but it takes a day for the store to get them from the wharehouse.
That's a savings of at least $30 (accounting for shipping) by getting them from the local store instead of online. Hard to believe I found something for the S2000 that you can buy cheaper locally.
