Default Speakers in headrest

Hello
I am looking to buy a S2000 can anyone tell me what year speakers were fitted to headrests?
Has anyone got a a s2000 for sale preferably Black, with red/black leather, 2004 onward, low to average mileage. Long shot I know but is anyone interested in buying a 2003 Toyota Celica Tsoprt--190bhp or px for a s2000!!!!!!!
Thanks
Steve

Either MY 05 or 06 was the first year with headrest speakers. Can't remember exactly which.

I believe you can get them fitted to older models so may have to do that.
No one interested in the Celica!!!
Why would you be if you have an S2000
Thanks again

It was an add on accessory in 04-05, and came factory on 06+ I believe.

MY2000 - MY2005 have speakers which can be purchased as an accesory and installed into the helmet hole in the seat. In MY2006+ the speakers were in the headrests.

I have a 2007 and the speakers are so small and tinny sounding, they're useless. Not worth the money to "upgrade" if you don't already have them and not a good reason to buy a particular model year if it doesn't have it.

You can add speakers to the panels under the roll hoops for cheap or into the roll hoops for less cheap.

i have a 06 with the roll bar speakers.... dont really make a difference and it doesnt help out that much, but im thinking to carve them out to install better ones. pretty much no use for headrest speakers, would upgrade the doors
