Default Speaking of rear windows...

Ok, so my rear window split this morning. I have a road trip this weekend, and I need a replacement. How much is Honda going to soak me for this? And is it covered under warranty?

Thanks

Cold weather opening is right. Someone should give a warning that putting the top down in 65 degree weather is not permissible. I live in friggin Florida. Didn't expect THAT problem.

$1k bucks. Terrific. My ownership experience just went from awesome to not-so-thrilled.

yeh we had a thread on it a few days ago. 65 degrees? I just opened it at 54 degrees the other day a few times. I think the limit is 40-45 or so. Weird 65......

I've opened or closed the top many times when temps were in the lower 50s, so I'm having a hard time understanding why or how the window cracked in 65 degree weather.

What have you been using to clean and maintain your rear window?

Normally I wash the car with Mothers car wash, and I've used a mothers or meguiars product twice to take scratches off the plastic window. There was no obvious problem with the window prior to this morning.

I suppose I'll use clear tape on the window to keep the rain out for the next week or so until I can get the damn thing replaced. What A PITA. At least this time, I'll be able to keep it nice and hopefully relatively scratch free.
