Default Spedometer Inaccuracy

Just got a 9500i radar detector (w/ GPS) and noticed. That my spedo was off. With my Spedo reading 75, the Detector would read 72-73 That's about 3% off, luckilly in a way that makes tickets less likely, but also in a way that makes the warrenty run out 3% faster. I did double check this with another GPS and got the same result.

Now I know what that class action suit was about this past fall.

u didnt get the letter in the mail that honda fked up the speedos by 5% or so?

Got the letter about the odometer, assumed it was just the odometer... Guess it's both, and that makes sense now that I think about it.

1.9mph to 2.4 over, when i tested it

well within tolerance compared to other cars, imo
