Default Speed Bumps and Mugen

Hey, this is my first post, and I also don't have an S2000 yet. If I decide to buy it, I will in December, but I still have a few questions that you can't answer unless you have an S, so here goes.

How well can an S go over speed bumps, and does it scrape? It's pretty Important since I live in New York, the speed bump capitol of the world.

If I get some Mugen parts and the dealership installs it, will it void my warranty?

Hope you guys can help. Thanks.

EDIT:

One more question, is $30,000 for a brand new S from the dealership a good deal?

The S with stock ride height will scrape. It'll scrape more if you lower it. And if you have the Mugen SS front spoiler or Mugen front lip, the chances of scrapes climb to 100%.

Speed bumps depend on a lot of things, but as long as it's stock, it should be able to go over speed bumps just fine.

If you add performance parts, it will usually void the warranty, especially if the dealer is picky.

$30,000 is about right for an 06

I have no problem going over bumps with stock height. Just take them slowly.

$30,000 is a good price for a new S. OTD of course.

Alright, thanks a lot. I just saw a 350z take the bumps at 35 without scraping, so I'm hoping I'll be okay.

Don't worry. I've never had trouble going over speed bumps anywhere.

Also, the 350Z's got nothing on the S. Last time I saw someone with a hot girl in the car was in Fast & Furious 3. She was also paid to be in there.
