I've been looking at alot of Tokyo Speed products and comparing them to Spoon Sports and the similarities are incredible. Perhaps both of these products are manufactured by the same company and then distributed by Spoon. Or does Speed just duplicate Spoon parts and sell it for less? Does anyone have any information regarding this perspective?

 

I'm not sure about their products...but I think Spoon preps the Speeds track car during race events.

 

ive been wondering the exact same thing while i was looking up stuff on the science of speed website, those pictures look like the spoon products without the logo embossed on them( oil filler cap,spark plug wire cover,rad cap.etc).

 

From what I know speed and spoon share development costs on some items for the more exotic cars where the sales just don't justify a full in house effort.

in many cases, speed parts = spoon parts.

speed race car -> prepped and tuned by spoon.
