well i got a ticket, it said i drove a prelude...its been over 200 days since i havent been to court because ive been deployed ( and i did send in my orders so i wouldnt be wanted ) in another 200 days ill be home and ill have to call the court and hope they lost it in the system orsomething.

Yes, you could get off on this but you have to be clever and maybe have a lawyer friend. I got two tickets in two weeks last fall. Got one (45 in a 25 zone) switched to expired tabs and the other was for 30 mph over the speed limit that I got down to 5 over.
They are strictly interested in generating funds, I just had my lawyer call them and say I was willing to still pay the fee or a little more to get it moved to a non moving violation so my insurance wasnt raised. That way they still make their money which is their only concern.

You know what i always do when I get a ticket? I plead NOT GUILTY and then the court gives me a court date which i have to appear in court. Cops takes notes about every infraction and if one does show up to one of thos hearings, it is basically his words (based on his notes) against yours.

You could argue that since the officer couldn't even get the make correct, he was incapable of judging speed as well. However, you need to be very good at arguing to pull this off. It's definitely doable.

in massachusetts, i tried to pull this "cop not showing up crap" and they had one officer there to represent the state and handle all the contested violations. i also tried to contest a ticket in vermont, that shady state, they mailed the date of the court after the date and i got fined even more for missing the court date, unfortunately i was leaving the area and didn't have time to contest it further, so i left being extra penalized.

You probably could have fought that even more. The reason a cop has to show up is because they witnessed the violation. No witness=no contest.
What case do they have without a witness?

It all depends on your courts. My traffic attorney frequently uses technical mistakes like this to get tickets dismissed. What works or doesn't work in your court may vary though.
I don't think anyone claimed that the system was designed to do so. However, the courts and police are required to follow certain rules, regulations and procedures. Whether or not an incorrectly specified model can get a ticket thrown out can vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Use a good traffic attorney.
