Default Spinning The Car On Purpose

While I love the handling on my 2004 S2000, I have yet to spin the car. I would like to bring the rear end around in a big open parking lot near my home so I could know what it feels like and, more importantly, learn to correct it so it won't take me by surprise on the road some day.

Anyone have suggested techniques for inducing a spin at relatively low speeds?

Thanks in advance.

1st gear, get the revs up a bit, crank the wheel all the way to one side and gun it, it will go

It might be awhile yet, but when you reach the wear limiters on your rear tires I would take the car back there for some more, erm, "training". Drive safe.

Go to an advanced driving course where they can simulate real driving conditions on a skidpan.

Even easier in an empty parking lot after the rain.

Yeah that type of stuff should be kept on the track, I can see a cop pulling by while you are doing your testing...not good. I found this for you though, hopefully it helps you out.
