Spoon or Brembo?
Planning to change brake soon. Which one performs better, both 4 pot... brembo has 13 inch cross-drilled rotor, spoon comes with monoblock design and 12 inch rotor... can't decide which one to go for...
also, which one has better clearance?
I have a Volks CE29N 17 x9 +63 setup ... planning to use 10mm spacer with the bbk...

There is no comparison. Brembo kit is just a better performing kit than the Nissin made Spoon kit. The only advantage that I can think of is that the Spoon calipers are smaller and should give you more clearance for more variety of wheels without using spacers. of course, if you insist on JDM then Spoon is your only option.

so Endless, Project Mu, aren't jdm???? Amuse, J's Racing . . . . .
do you comprehend that??
I'd say Endless is about as good as it gets, unless you can afford the really really really nice Brembos.

The original poster did only mentioned 2 options. So the only JDM out of those 2 options is Spoon...
Yes, I've had Brembo on my other cars and Brembo are more performance oriented and they are more dominant on the racetracks while Nissin who makes Spoon are more focused on cheaper OEM applications. He also did mentioned that the bembo had 13" rotors and the Spoon had 12". More surface metal for heat dissipation = better performing brakes.
