I've had the Spoon CAI installed for a little over a month-and-a-half already... and all I can say is that it's GREAT!

I believe Mingster posted the original pics some time ago...

For my setup, I'm also using the Spoon air filter... and we also cut out the plastic divider inside the airbox (as recommended by the guys at Spoon headquarters... )

What can I say? I'm a VERRRRRRRRRY satisfied customer!

Is the new AEM CAI going to be better? Will it produce more hp than the Spoon duct? I also hear its coming out in about 8 weeks or soemthing?

Wow thanks Luis and Takashi, Taka Kaira Inc. sent me a quote within hours on the Spoon air duct. I got a quote of $307.45 and $36.26 for shipping to Virginia. They said they won't have any till around the end of the month. I won't be buying from the other source at this price. Thanks again for the information.

Spoon did cut the inside divider of the airbox on their race cars...I am planning to do so as well, after I test it out I will post the result.

5-8 hp gain is sorta unbelievable for just cutting the divider, if there is a decline in performance, I will switch back to a un-modified stock airbox since my friend is running the AEM CAI and i can have his stock one...well either way I will post the result once I get my hand on it.
