Spoon Caliper Clearance

Default Spoon Caliper Clearance

I have a set of spoon calipers, with stock ap2 wheels, driver side can clear with 15mm, but passenger side need another 3mm to clear.

why does one side stick out more then the other, does anyone of you have this problem? how can i fix the problem?

All i can tell you is that can't be right. It probably has something to do with the installation.

Yeah, I would think that they would have the exact same clearance on both sides or they should.
The side that needs the extra spacer should be inspected.

well when we were installing a rotora big brake kit on a tsx the pass side needed a 2-3mm spacer to clear than the driverside.

Yeah, but there's been quite a few threads lately about the spoon calipers and none of them talk about this particular problem. My bet is that something has gone wrong with the install.
