I know there are a lot of posts concerning coilovers for the s2000 but....
here goes one more...

After spending some time at the tracks, I've decided that I'm ready for a sus upgrade.
I've ordered Spoon sway bars, struts and lower braces.

But...
I'm not sure what coilovers I should go for.
I'm pretty much set on the Spoon for a various of reasons, one being that it's easy to get.

I would like to go with the fully adjustable coilover but am concerned about two points.

One major problem is that I don't have a lot of experience with adjustable shocks and I'm not sure I'll be able find the optimum setting... at least on a finite amount of time.
Another concen is whether the adjustable coilover will be too hard for street use, since the car spends most of it's time on the street and not on the track...

If either the car will be too hard on the street or too hard for me to find the appropriate setting, I might just go with fixed type.

Any comment from any of you with experience with spoon coilvers would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

The Spoon dampers, though expensive, are excellent street/track dampers.

They are firm but not stiff/harsh, unlike many other aftermarket dampers.

are there any tutorials for installing coilovers here on the board? and also for tuning them?

 

not as far as I know.... It would be a lot of help if someone could post an instruction for setting up the coilovers
