i just finished installing my spoon exhaust. when i go over bumps, i hear some rattling from my exhaust. It is no doubt the exhaust and the frame crossbar near the resonator. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

I have the same problem with my Tanabe exhaust, not the resonator, but the piping knocking on the crossbar when I go over large bumps. I was thinking maybe swapping out the exhaust bushings, but frankly, not too sure that would do it.

 

yeah...its the pipe near the resonator and the crossbar. i am thinking of installing some kind of rubber grommett onto the crossbar between the bar and the pipe. it is a tad annoying.

BUT...THIS EXHAUST IS REALLY LOUD.

I've taken mine off and put it back on, and it still knocks, let me know how it works out for you, I'm going to see how much longer I can live with it like this.

 

lehighwiz: can you comment on how loud the spoon exhaust is? especial from the inside of the car, with both top up and down.
