Cool! Do you have that combination, or did you hear it on someone else's S? Do you know if the Mugen header increases the noise level as much?_

I would think the noise level is more a result of the exhaust than header. I bet that N-1 exhaust is plenty loud with the stock header as well. The N-1 is truly a circuit performance exhaust with out any street muffling concept. Can you feel any seat of the pants power gain?

Okay Blau, show us the pics and the sound file. Did it come with a silencer?

I have the spoon N1 exhaust, waiting for Spoon header. I can feel more torque in the low range to mid range. I can't tell in VTEC, though I did go against Cthree's S2000 at Thunderhill in the straight and his car, which was driven by someone else, and I were dead even, I was not drafting him.

Theres a loud hum between 4-5k while cruising...it's loud and definitely not for everyone. But the sound in VTEC is very sweet!

Yes it does come with a silencer and it gets rid of the booming hum below vtec. Makes it more livable, I don't use it because there are ranges where it's not loud at all, and that's where I cruise at.

has anyone dyno'd this combo? I'm going to get either Spoon exhaust or J's and either Spoon header or Mugen and was hoping someone has dyno results on spoon/spoon or spoon/mugen...

Header/exhaust combos I have seen dynoed include: Spoon/Mugen, Mugen/Mugen, the latter being mine. I would like to dyno my car again with Mugen/Spoon, especially if Mingster arranges another dyno day.
