Haven't weighed it myself. But everything i've read says 29lbs. I heard the factory honda top has to be taken off by two people. I weigh 115lbs and i take the top off by myself with no problems. The cab section feels like 20lbs or less..

Hi all, I know this is an old thread, can i confirm that irregardless of production or race spoon mooncraft hardtops, do they all allow the trunk to be opened without modifications? And how hard is it to install and remove the spoon mooncraft top by oneself? Like how long does it take etc....cuz i prolly will put it on n take it off now n then etc....

I'm looking to buy this hardtop soon so please tell me first before i buy it!!!

the trunk can still be opened with the removal of the rear section. the spoon top is relatively easy to install and can be done by one person since it is very light and should not take more than half an hour to an hour to install all the bracketry.

it's a type of hardtop that either you really dislike the taste or really fall in love with it. I personally like it very much though it reminds me too much of a porsche and I believe some ppl will also say that if I drive it out on the streets.

Thanx fer the input peepz! Well I have to say I love the mooncraft hardtop, it really stands out from the rest of the hardtops, I just think that I will want to drive out without the top now n then and therefore will remove n put on the HT time to time. And the other situation would be when I have the mooncraft top on and I'm out and need to put something in the trunk and really have nowhere else to put it, if I can't remove the rear section or open it up to access the trunk, it might be a bit of trouble.
