I agree with S2kBoy I am really into JDM the only Amcerican stuff I`d put on my car would be a SC and thats only because no Japanese company offers one that I`ve seen with those number and also I can`t really see putting American parts on a Japanese car that symbolizes HONDA`s Cart Heritage

PS Thanks to all those how reply kinda eased my mind on some things I`ve been hearing
FYI guys

Comptech services and provided engines for Honda's various racing teams...

I think there stuff is definitely high quality - maybe not as bling as the JDM stuff(This coming from a guy that just bought a Spoon STB and a Compteck X-brace).

Each of these companies products offers certain pluses and minuses. Do yourself a favor and use the search function to learn what you can before you purchase anything.

Also use the forsale boards. Alot of these items go up forsale fairly often and you can save a good deal of money by buying used.

beating them to the next stoplight. the trick is to not let them know you are racing.

well, all you be able to do with that much IS do it up a little if you want to stay JDM... otherwise, it could buy you a used supercharger... it all depends on how far your planning to go with it. I never planned to have gone this far and keep going, just kinda happened... If you don't have much disposable income, I'd watch the forsale board and not be in a rush...

Here is a list of the following items you should buy:

Gears - $800 4.77 or 4.57 what ever you prefer
T1R Exhaust - $650 JDM exhaust for reasonable $ that makes power
Spoon Air Duct - $ 450 Intake that won't cause Hydrolock plus it's JDM
Toda Header - $1200 Free's up a little HP and a lot of weight
Rear S-02's - $340 All that Vette and Ferrari beating puts wear on these

Leftover money should be spent on driving school or Auto-X events. Your not as good of a driver as you think you are. (not a personal attack, its the truth on about 99% of members on this board) There's always room for improvement.

not to start an arguement, or downplay the product, but T1R isn't true JDM... it's AJ's line. Nothing wrong with the piece, in fact, I'm running their test pipe and am quite pleased, but that doesn't make it JDM. Just my .02
