Default Spoon N1 or J's Racing N1

Hey guys, I recently have decided to get a exhuast for my car. Im cant make a decision. I like the Spoon for the name but I like J's racing because it weighs less and cost less. Does anyone here have the J's racing N1 on their car? If so, what do you think of it? I just wanted to know everyones opinion on this.
Thanks!! Happy Holidays!!

Guess which exhaust gets my vote?!?!

PM me if you got any specific questions regarding the Spoon exhaust in terms of sound, gains etc.

i was down to the exact same two choices... but this topic has been drilled to death so think that doing a search will shed a lot of peoples opinions. i have the spoon and i love it to death. i think its just a matter of how you want the tip to look. spoon exhaust has a tip that appears to be smaller than the stock tip, unpollished, and comes with the silencer standard. J's on the other hand has a chrome finish, has a huge tip and does not come with the silencer. i believe their gains are almost equal.

Yo S2000PILOT, both the J's Racing and Spoon N1 exhausts are excellent products.
I chose the J's Racing exhaust mostly because my friend Reecespieces already had the Spoon N1. It was a toss up between the two. J's maybe slightly lighter in weight and also is a one piece exhaust versus the Spoon's two piece, not that it matters much...

I really LOVE the J's Racing exhaust!!! I love the deep sound at idle and part throttle and the screaming F1 like sound at WOT VTEC!!! Makes me do this everytime!
Performance wise, there's not much to be gained in terms of HP with either setup. You'll save weight for sure. Other than that, I did notice the VTEC transition was a lot smoother than the stock exhaust setup.

One warning though, at certain RPM range and letting off the throttle causes a booming sound within the cabin. It really doesn't bother me at all, kinda like it personally, but some people find it annoying... I believe this booming also happens with Spoon N1.

You really can't go wrong with either J's or Spoon N1's. I really wish you can hear it in person before deciding on which exhaust to go with.

Here's a few MPG clips of the exhaust sounds that I found for your reference...
Here's a MPG clip of the N1 exhaust from J's racing website:

And here's two clips of Reecespieces Spoon N1 courtesy of SteveUCI's website:

Good luck and let us know which exhaust setup you decide to go with!!

I went with J's and I never looked back. I debated on both of them for a while, but after hearing sound clips, I decided to go with J's. To me, J's sounded meaner and deeper, while spoon seemed higher pictched and raspier. Both are great exhausts, and you will be happy with either. DO a search or look back a few days, I posted some videos and sound clips of my car with the J's exhaust and AEM CAI.

I have the J's exhaust and I love it. I've never heard the Spoon exhaust though.

Either one is good, that's how I feel. At the end of the day, it's up to you to decide which one you want.

No such thing as a stupid question!

The Spoon N1 is completely stainless steel. I'm 99% sure the J's is the same, but I'm not sure...

Amuse offers a Titanium exhaust offering (single outlet). Talk to Spoon AP1 if you're interested -- he has this exhaust. ARC also offers a titanium exhaust.
