any performance difference btw the 2?

A staight bore TB is always make more power at high rpm but you will lose the bottom end.
As for Spoon TB, they are only taper design so mid-range will be better but paying 300-400 for Spoon doing the work is a little too much . I can have your bore out for only 150-200 so if you are interested you can email privately.
