Default Spoon Question

Hello guys, kinda tired of my stock s2000 and i wana do something nice and im not really into turbo's or sc my car. I know people who have done both and it doesnt seem worth it, just in my eyes. So im thinking swaping my car with a spoon engine. my question is how much would it cost me to buy the engine and how much power would i be getting. If anyone has a spoon swap s2000 how do u like it? and u think its worth it? how much power does it give to the wheels. I just want my stock 05 to have a spoon engine, what would i need to do. Price's also plz. Thx thx

A Spoon engine is only gonig to kill your wallet, not your need for speed.

get a spoon drop in filter, spoon snorkel, spoon header, and spoon n1 exhaust. oh and spoon n1 ecu. that should be about 4k worth of spoon and about 10rwhp if your lucky.

OR

vortech sc= +100rwhp. for 5k.

as much as the idea of a FAST na s2k is alluring, its in many ways a futile effort. but not totally. you can get a spoon stroker kit.($2800)

a na s2k is more of a money pit than a FI s2k. save the $ and get boost if you want all out power. good luck in your findings!

p.s i am a spoon nut too. i have already had this internal struggle, i feel for you bro! HA!

Well dont forget, ima sell my stock engine so ima save some money towards the spoon engine, and i dont want speed to kill myself so sc or turbo would be more then enough i guess. So how much would the engine cost and how much power with just engine and some bolt ons to get it running as a daily driver.

if i am not mistaken, a fully built spoony crate f20, runs about 13k. i am sure someone will correct me. i cant read jap on the spoon website. your getting...

cams
valve springs
cam gears
ecu
flowed head(dont know how they do much better)...

its more or less a spoon engine catalouge assembled. your getting eveything spoon. as far as power out put,?, i would imagine it would be in the 270-280 hp. but thats on jap gas, with the car's ecu being tuned on jap gas also. state-side, 260 horse, around there.

but what a wicked 260 some hp that would be!

dont quote my facts i am going off memory, i had this same idea. all i remember is giving up half way through, because i was going to have to sell my wife to get the damn motor.

if you by chance pull this off, i am flying to your house and we are going for a ride. a spoon motor!!! HOLY SH@T!!!!!! i am praying for ya! ha!

I dono if u guys saw the spoon s2k on superstreet. i was at a meet at pasadena and i saw a s2k looked like a million dollar car. he poped his hood, saw it had a spoon engine, i asked how much for the engine he told me 7k, So if it was even 8, i can sell my stock engine which is someone new i guess. So just engine swap ima be spending less then supercharging it. And u mean 260 to the wheels, cuz he had 260 to the wheels.

Any Sites?
