J's and Mugen will give the best performance but not at the best price. Their intake is designed so that when you drive faster you get more cooler air in. Because of this it is somethig that you can't really dyno. Just my .02

I don't think that they are talking just about intakes. I think they are talking about all the parts these tuners own.
Which tuner's car produces the most power?

You can bolt on 10K of parts from any vendor and only get a modest gain that you'd barely notice unless your car was on a Dyno. Additionally, you can't trust a tuner to give you accurate Dynos. Last time the Mugen / King Motorsports S2000 was Dyno'd by a mag it produced about 1hp for every 1000 spent if I remember correctly (if that).

A Supercharger, by comparison, will give you 20-25hp for every 1K spent.

Spoon/J's/Mugen..... dyno graphs???

If you want dyno graphs...... Comptech/Inline Pro/Vortech is what you want.

Spoon/J's/Mugen are not going to blow anyone away on a dyno, but I believe the consencus is that J's makes the most power out of those three. J's is the only one with a headerback/70mm exhaust and their header has the biggest collectors and primaries out of those three tuners.

Hope that helps.....

J's makes the most power, than Spoon, and then Mugen (but J's did a stroked motor to 2.3l). BTW these are based on the Factory claims in Hyper Rev.

If you want to be JDM and have the most HP you better go make a copy of the Top Fuel Car (Japanese Tuner). Their car runs a Turbo/ NO2 set up, but they are making more than twice the power of Mugen, J's and Spoon.

BTW... most tuners (not all, but most) in Japan dont test their cars on dyno's they test them on the track so they are all probably estimated HP figures.
