Untighten 4 bolts, place x-brace, tighten back 4 bolts. DONE!
Remove 4 stock bolts, put up x-brace, install 4 aftermarket bolts. To add some excitement I recomend slamming your head on the x-brace then punching the oil pan as hard as you can. Not only will it make you look tough, hopefully you'll get some sympathy affection from your g/f and/or wife afterwards

Do not install the X-brace one side at a time. I have read on the forum that someone did this and was concerned that over time his chassis became deformed. Jack up the whole front end at the same time and use Jack stands. I think I remember Xviper saying that ideally an X-brace should be installed with the suspension loaded if possible.
Also use proper torque specs for the brace, for the Spoon they say 4.0 kgf.m. I think thats about 29 ft lbs. The stock bolts that are removed have a torque spec of 3.9 kgf.m or 28 ft lbs. Good Luck
Actually, if it is a new X-brace and you plan on having it on the car for a while, you may consider getting some gloss black rustoleum to spray the insides of the brace's re-enforced center area. Good Luck again
