Default Spoon X-brace , strut bar

J's has a spoon x-brace deal going.. just wondering what difference this makes versus the cost ($185) - is it worth it... ?

Is a front upper sway bar enough? much cheaper...

any input appreciated... thanks.

They do different things. X-Brace makes more of a difference, as the STB is more for aesthetics but doesnt hurt by any means.
If you just want handling gains, get the Xbrace. And "enough" is different to everyone.

And who has that special going on now?

Ahh, I see.
J's is a JDM Manufacturer.
AJ's is a Canadian vendor selling J's and Spoon, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, the Spoon X-brace interferes with oil changes.

Anyone know by how much?

I have the Spoon X brace, and yes it does get a little oil over the top of the bar when changing it. Nothing to worry about though.

I bought my bar from AJ-Racing and love it. I noticed a diff with chasis stiffness.

I got my Spoon X-brace from AJ's last spring and couldn't be happier with it, especially considering the price they offer. It does get in the way of oil changes a bit, but considering its a $100 savings over the Muz Whiteline I'll deal with a little mess and wipe it up with a rag.
