Default spray or not? carbon fiber honda s2000 bonnet hood

just bought my carbon fiber honda s2000 bonnet hood fm mevic motor carbon ,is the original carbon fiber bonnet resprayable or not?
thinking keep carbon color or respray it 2 match my car?the seller strongly suggest not paint it keeping the carbon color is
the best looking. any opinion guys?

I've seen lots of carbon fiber parts painted. There's a little bit of a different process the painter has to do but it can be done.

If you plan on selling it at some point, it's going to be worth a lot more unpainted.

My personal preference, however, is painted, or painted with small unpainted carbon accents peeking through.

Depending on your car's color, unpainted looks pretty hot.

Exactly, it really depends on the color of the car. But on most cars, it looks better unpainted IMHO.

It looks great on Red, Yellow and White. Could go either way with Silver or Black. Light blue, I'd say paint, dark, I'd say not to.

Is it a stock replica for only weight savings? Or what design? Image or link?
