Default Spring Spacers Removed?

Just wanted to know how obvious it would be to know whether the spring spacer is removed by the dealer or not? What do I check for? Just asking for precaution reasons...thanks.

You should do a search on this question since this question has come up numerous times. Good luck

Get a flashlight and look for little rubber things wedged between the coils of your springs at each wheel.

Did a search and found a lot of very useful information about the spacers. My salesman just called to reassure me that the mechanic completely removed all the spring spacers from the car (although I'd like to double check myself).
Would I be able to just bring it to a local dealership (not the same one I purchased from cuz it's too far away) and have them jack up the car to get it checked out? How much would that cost?

Nah, save the time and money. If they are there, you can see them when the car is on the gound. You can't miss them.

I thought mine where still installed when I first go the car. The rear end was so hard from what I had driven. I looked and they where not there. I just had to get used to the new ride feel.

You have the jack that came with the car -- if you really wanna know, just lift it a few inches and see for yourself. Should only take a minute.

I just crawled under the back and looked at the springs. It's really not that hard. If you can get in and out of this car, you can do it. Mine were still there, btw. With them in, the ride isn't firm - it's harsh.

If you have talked to the dealer and discussed the spacers, and they told you they were removed, chances are good they have been removed. I think they get left in because someone just isn't doing his or her job when prep'ing the car.

Can leaving them in cause any damage to anything other than my teeth jarring around?

If you feel the "jarring", then imagine what the rest of your car is going through. I think a firmer suspension only hastens the loosening of things that might take longer to come loose. That's why both my previous Corvettes (daily driven) started to lose fasteners after about a year.
