What is the price?
Can I get it for low price?
Where can I get it?
Is it rough, stiff, jumpy?

If all you want is looks, go with springs. If you know taht eventually you will upgrade to a set of good coilovers, save your money now.
If you do decide to go with springs, KG/MM are better than most other brands in my opinion.
You really need to do some research. There are coilovers well over five grand.

if you are going to track it sometimes and not just for looks, then get the coilovers. after you decide to get coilovers then decide which product you want. If i had the money, i would get spoon or maybe something else. hahaha. but i heard buddy club are very nice too and with reasonable price.
Stick with stock.
but that is just me. Had coilovers on my previous car. Never once I had adjusted the height let alone, took it to a race track enough to benefited by the mod.
Bottomed the car out constantly because roads weren't perfect for the height that I desired.
IMHO, S2000 stock suspension set up is wonderful enough for everyday and even spirited track event for amatures like us.
Why bother tinkering with suspension geometry and dynamics that has been configured by Honda engineers? Don't forget, they did not produce S2000 for mass. It targets enthusiasts.
Anyways, that just is my opinion.

if you want a true performance upgrade, then a good set of coilovers are the way to go.
if looks and improved performance is the plan, you can be set with a good set of springs and shocks. I recommend the Ti2000 from RS*R. they are a titanium composite, and come with a lifetime warranty. plus, RS*R is the biggest and baddest spring mfg in japan.

i can do all the research for you, make a matrix in MS Excel displaying all the data in graph form, and then use MS powerpoint to create a presentation on which product would be the best for you considering all the tradeoffs you are concerned with. But you'll be paying me for it.
