Default Springs and Handling

I know if you want to do it right and actually gain performance in handling, you have to dish out $2000+ to get a nice set of coilovers. But if I were to just put springs on the car, would the handling be worse than the stock or about the same. Thanks in advance!

Anything less than 1" will perform worse than stock.

Like they said above it'll be worse. But, if you don't do any auto-x or track events you will probably never notice the difference. On the street you won't (or at least you shouldn't) get to 10/10ths where the difference will show up.
