oddly enough, i have not noticed a power loss with the silencers in on the invidia. either way the power gains are negligible, so buy the exhaust dependent on what you want.

I liked the invidia better for several reasons. the spugen was too quiet for my taste. the invidia with titanium tips was cheaper than the spugen with titanium tips. even though, IMO (just my opinion), i felt the invidia was a little better build quality. plus the invidia was readily available, where the spugen is custom made so you have to wait for them to build it. The spugen weighs 34lbs, and the invidia weighs 35lbs.

Thanks!...All I needed to make up my mind...I would buy the J's racing 70r titanium exhaust...but the tip is just so damn ugly. Purple/blue angled down tip?!...Wtf were they thinking?! Thanks for the info wisconsin.

as i said, the power gains are fairly small, so the differences are negligible.

Correct me if I'm wrong (please), but the spugen could be a problem depending where you live. The piping is made of aluminized steel which is prone to heavy rust, so if you live in a climate where there is a lot of inclement weather (rain, snow, high moisture stuff) then the Spugen might go south on you. I'm glad you got the Invidia because I think it's a great exhaust for the price. Many posts have been made on Spugen's rusting, but many posts have also praised the exhaust. I guess it all depends, seems like you can't go wrong with either as long as you take care of it.

I have a Spugen and it will rust. However, I prefer it over the Invidia because the Invidia is simply TOO LOUD for my tastes. I much prefer the looks (polished stainless steel) of the Invidia, but I bought my exhaust for the sounds it produces.
