Spyder vs. S2k
I was watching a show that looked at the events leading to James Deans death in his Porsche spyder. I had never seen one in person and was amazed at how freaking tiny the thing looked on tv. I thought our cars were small. Has anyone seen one in person or does any one know how the size of them compare to our s2k's? Just curious.
I don't know about the original 550, but the Beck Spyder replica is:
Wheelbase (in) 82.7"
Overall Length (in) 150"
Overall Width (in) 65.8"
Overall Height (in) 44.7"
Track (front/rear in) 61.8" / 50.4" That sounds off to me...
The S2000 in comparison for each dimension is:
+11.8"
+12.2"
+3.1"
+5.3"
