While driving tonight the SRS light came on. Any know why? or should I call the dealer

 

Did you do work on ur stero.. like head unit area?

No work done on stereo. Car has 2100 miles. Light came on while

 

Did it go off now? Check your owner's manual about this, it could be nothing. The manual tells you what to do if it goes on.

I'd take it to the dealer if it's still on.

 

i have around same amount of mileage as u, in my 2003 and the other night mine came on out of nowhere and I am totally stock so I am bringing it to the dealer at some point and seeing what they say, I will let u know if anything is important.

I checked the manual, it says, take it to the dealer. Tomorrow I will schedule an appointment. I will let you guys know what they find.

 

I'd have them check each connector from the airbag modules themselves through to the airbag ECU.

Since it seems to be an intermittent issue (provided that the SRS light is OFF again, and already occuring at such low miles) I believe it is a faulty connection of some sort.
