Default SSM Front Bumper

So even before I got the S2000 I always wanted one that looked like the SSM concept. I really havn't seen anything similar on the aftermarket front and have even though about fabricating something but how cool would this look:

Obivously you'd need two new fenders and a new bumper + 2 headlights. The closest thing I've seen is the Spoon Tai bumper.

CRX Trivia
When this car was introduced into this country the legal standards for minimum height above the ground for headlights had to be revised because they were just too low.

I suspect the number one issue with the SSM headlights was the fact that they are just too low.

I agree, I always loved the look, but I suspect a mod that major could result in inspection issues.

Thats what I figured as well - but most people, cops especially wouldnt know any different if it were clean enough.

if someone were determined enough, they could also fab up some pop-up headlights to pass inspection (nsx style!)

But here in NY the annual inspection would mean you have to put the car back to stock once a year...

you could fiberglass something that covers the headlights and swap it once a year, but you'd have to wire a ton through the fog lights of that bumper (blinkers, etc) or cusom fab the whole front end...
