lol my first car was a mazda tribute. that thing would only go to about 110 and talk about unstable!
my first car was an 88 chevy nova. the speedometer only goes up to 85 mph but that doesn't mean the car can't go faster than that. on that car going to speeds of a hundred the doors and windows would shake violently...

I agree with guys about it feeling unstable at higher speeds. I came from a evo and I hit 140 in it and felt very stable. I really didn't want a spoiler but I may look into. Definitley gonna lower it as well.

Looking at our front end, I'm certain a chin spoiler/diffuser would help. Air pushes in under there. If the rear feels light then a wing will help (the CR model wasn't just for looks).

Do you still have the front strakes installed?

The plastic pieces in front of the front wheels.

Had mine up to 138 about three weeks a go on a day with 25\30mph wind gust and the car felt fine ,the road was fairly smooth with a slight right hander. It did get a little squirrely when i touched the brakes but nowhere near outta shape. I do have the OEM wing that honda offers on it so i'm guessing that helps.

Get a wing and a lip.

Mugen or CR are both wind tunnel tested and provide great stability at speed. I went out to do some high speed runs on the Blue Ridge Parkway without a wing, I came home and immediately ordered a CR wing.

Personally, I went with CR wing + lip (and suspension). The improvement is noticeable. I cannot say whether the wing/lip combo did everything, since I installed the parts at similar times.

The S2000 is okay at high speeds at stock, but relatively unstable compared to other cars like 350Z. Perhaps you could lower it, put wider tires or what not, but I'm suspecting those two won't do a whole heck of a lot, because at the speeds that you are concerned with, aerodynamics is what's causing the issue.

I'm a fan of parts that have been through some proper testing, and I would trust that Honda and Mugen did that with their aero kits (well, CR for Honda ... not the normal wing you see from pre-07). Those J-Racing ones look like they'll do something, but not sure if that's the route you wanna go. The CR is a bit over the top for street use, but not entirely ... I would say some of the other GT wings would be too much on the street

i have had some problems with stability while acclerating up to the 100+ range.

I had thought that my shocks may be wearing out because it does a side to side dance but im glad that im not the only one who is feeling this in the higher mph range.

Also i noticed people saying that you should run your tire pressure around 32?

wouldnt this increase wear if say ur max pressure is at the 50 psi range?

i only ask cause ive had blowouts because of sidewall wear on previous cars and was just wondering if this caould cause the same issue.

Thanks Jeremy
