I'm was just comparing specs between the '03 broschure and the '04. Here is the comp on the stabilizer:

'03 - Front 27.2 mm, Rear 28.6 mm
'04 - Front 26.5 mm, Rear 25.4 mm

I assume that Honda's thinking was that the thinner bars would soften the ride. The pre-'04 might corner better. That is something that could be interesting.

They also gave the turning radius for the '03 at curb to curb 35.4 ft. It has to increase on the '04 because of the 17's, but they don't list it.

Also interesting are the Gear Ratios: listed 1st to 6th:

'03- 3.133, 2.045, 1.481, 1.161, 0.971, 0.811
'04- 3.133, 2.045, 1.481, 1.161, 0.942, 0.763
The slight change was due to the new 2.2 ltr., extra stroke

Old news, but the slightly thinner front bar reduces the oversteer, in partnership with the suspension, alignment, and wheel/tire changes.

That is a misleading statement. The configuration of the new suspension may produce less oversteer but a smaller front sway bar by itself will increase body roll and increase oversteer in this car. That is the reason so many heavy front roll bars have been sold, to keep the rear of the car behind the driver.

The '04 suspension is completely reworked compared to the earlier models so just comparing roll bar sizes won't tell you much. In fact the suspension was changed slightly in '02 (and maybe again in '03) so be careful drawing conclusions based on a single component.

All the changes have been discussed in detail in other threads, including some decent evaluations of the improved handling.
