Just curious, does the bike and the car belong to the same guy? The pics of that bike were posted a while ago in the "bike talk" section.

Dwight told me that his initial target price was about $5K and after he completed the car he didn't think that would be a problem. It is of the same high quality parts as the original just a few differences. He used a Tial 35 mm wastegate and a smaller exhaust housing on the turbo... not sure what else. I'll talk with him today.

I just spoke with Dwight and here's the deal... he now sells the kit in two variations. He (Stage 6/Dwight) sells the original kit (like mine, ChrisD's, cjb80's, etc.) for $5600 and just like before there are some other items that you will probably want to add. He now offers a 'base kit' which includes the same as the original with a couple of changes. The turbo is not a ball-bearing unit and the wastegate is a 35mm Tial and this kit will sell for $49xx.

That intercooler comes in really handy, given the location of the intake .

As I said before... Dwight fabricated the original 'Speedcraft' kit and Dwight fabricated this one... get the picture?

The wastegate that comes with the 'original' kit is a Tial 46mm wastegate (retails for about $550-$600) and at the boost levels that we're running on the S2000 is probably a little overkill. The 35mm Tial is just a smaller version of the other. We were trying to avoid boost creep which can occure especially at higher RPM's and when you're talking 9000 RPM's.... who know's what's going to happen. The 35mm Tial worked fine and there's no evidence whatsoever of boost creep. As for the turbo... it's the same size (T4 housing) as the previous kits but it's not a ball-bearing turbo which will have little or no effect on power but it will increase spool up time. Not sure by how much but my guess is less than 500 RPM's.
