Hey guys, hopefully some members can chime in and give me some thoughts/advice on my situation.

I have an ap1 running a 17x9 square wheel setup with 255/40/17 tires.
I also have a set of ap2v1 wheels with almost brand new tires running 225/45/17 up front and 255/40/17 tires in the rear.

The situation I’m in is that my square set up wheels basically have no tread left in them.

Would it be okay if I were to transfer my tires on my AP2 wheels over to my 17x9 square wheels and not run into any issues? I’m worried the front might be stretched, although I don’t think it’d be too bad. I’m more worried about whether there will be any detriment to handling etc...

Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated!

 

No handling detriment that you wouldn't already notice with the ap2v1 wheels.

225 on a 17x9 will be a bit stretched but nothing dangerous
