I dug into my records and found that I had ordered that start button hat from:

Mark Bombardo
Logo Pro's
14601 Portland Ave, #104
Burnsville , MN 55306

It was $19. I don't know weather Mark is still selling them, but they are very cool. I'll post a picture tonight.

Not yet. I promised to look into this, but haven't had the time yet. Will do though, soon.

I'm not goin to test this, but once the engine is started...does the start button still function or is it smart enough to not crank the start (ouch) while the engine is running...i almost prsesed it the other day by accident...

Only if you have the clutch in (push down on clutch) - had this happen once and you get that scary starter noise...

So does that mean you have to depress the clutch after you turn the key, before you hit the button to start the car?

Geez, that sounds like a lot of work.

Unfortunately you can't start the S2000 in neutral w/ clutch out like you can in my Acura

The last 2 standards I owned prior to the S2k, you had to depress the clutch to start the car (keeps you from starting the car in gear, which is not a good thing...)

So, I'd say that cute little red button that you liked so much is that extra work...

There are other things in the car that take extra work. You have to engage the parking brake, put down the windows, unclick the two roof latches and push the roof button to retract the roof. If you have the E-brake engaged and roof unlatched, pushing the roof button will lower the windows before retracting the roof. With that done, you have to manually get out of the car, open your trunk take out the boot and manually attach the boot to the car with 6 secure points then you must tuck in the boot.

Don't forget that answering all the questions about your car is alot of work too.

Six gears = lots of work vs 5 gears.

The search for the secret compartment = lots of work.

The search for the gas door release = lots of work.

This car is a major pain when I think about it!!!

Don't forget about searching for the time.

As in searching for the clock...

As in the time spent keeping it looking pretty...

As in the time spent driving around endlessly because it is just so fun to drive...
